Renters Beware!!! If management agrees to anything make sure you get it in writing. We asked before signing a dock lease if we could launch our boat on weekends and store it in the field during the week. We live three hours away and if a storm came through we wanted to make sure our boat was safe, they said that was not a problem, that was on May 21 (both managers present). On the weekend of July 4th I was yelled at by Glenn the manager and told “This has to stop NO day launching and you can bring that boat back to where ever the hell it came from” at this point I realized there was no talking to this man. That afternoon he went to the office to try to talk to Edie the other manager Glenn’s wife all she would say was that she misunderstood our request and that really our only option was to take the boat elsewhere. They would not renew or 2018 lease because of this! So we are leaving and will never be back! Thank you to all the people that we did meet and became friends with we will miss you all.
Stay far away. The management doesn’t give a damn about the people paying money to stay there. Short temper Glen should be in an insane asylum. Be careful with him, if you question anything he’ll throw you right out. Take your money elsewhere. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
The Cafe is a great place to stop in for breakfast OR to get a sandwich or sub, burger, salad or sometimes a dinner special. You can sit down and eat or take it to go back to your site! Great food, great coffee, great prices, fun people! We also have lots of ice cream, popcorn and candy for the kiddos or your sweet tooth! Come see Jamie and I and we will whip you up some food made with TLC!
